Final Draft

Well I have completed my second character piece. It is a fugue! I based the fugue theme on my first five measures of chords. Almost playing through the chords in order. I then restated the theme and wrote a counter subject that will work well under the hands. After this I followed processes of contrapuntal writing, and restated the theme many times following a series of fifths. I almost solved this work as a mathematical equation. I think the product is decent. Having no education on atonal music, I find having a formula such as the fugue, can create some answers to equations where free composition may mislead people. I have just finished copying the score into Sibelius from my handwritten copy, and look forward to hearing my classmates response in 12 hours.
